Quito - Ecuador

It's the best place ever. Ecuador is an amazing country with a lot of things to offer. Quito, the capital of Ecuador and also the city where I was born, were the first Cultural Heritage Site declared by UNESCO in 1978. Quito is also, the second-highest capital city in the world after La Paz, Bolivia, with 2,800 m (about 9,186 ft).
A monument and museum marking the general location of the equator. It's known locally as La Mitad del Mundo (the middle of the world). Ecuador is in the middle of the world because the equator cross through it, where there is 0° Latitude.
My city is rich in history, touristic places, volcanoes, museums, monuments, plazas and many different nice places to visit. It's funny because in Quito we can expect the four seasons in a day. In the morning is windy as autumn. At midday is hot as summer. In the afternoon is breeze and raining as spring and at night is cold as winter. Although you need to be ready and prepare for the changes during the day, I love my city!.

OMG!

OMG! ! It's incredible how is raining these days. I was very lucky because today I woke up early to come to NJ and my husband called me and he told me that in Long Island the trains were closed because of the weather. But I did it. I came to visit my family. It's been more than 3 weeks without seen them. I appreciate so much the time I spend with them because that makes us stronger as family and makes us closer to each other. We do a lot of fun things together. We like playing different games. Also, we like to pray together and reading the bible. I love them. They mean everything to me (besides my hubby of course).

This week I have to take my husband's car to go to the school and then I have to go to work. He was afraid at the begining but now he trusts that I'm a prudent driver. Sometimes it's kind of awful driving because I come out from work really tired and the only thing I want at the time is my husband picking me up and go straight to my bed. But the story changed. Now, Im the one who has to pick up my husband from his job. I just wish for this day to finish. Im really tired and sleepy. =/

When I'm with my family something I love to do is read the bible with them. My dad is a good preacher of God's word and doing this inspires me and helps me to keep going. In God I can find the force necessary to survive. I believe I God because I know His love is real. Every day we wake up, we live, we do a lot of things and it's just because of His mercy and His grease. I thank God all the time because I know everything that happens in my life is His will and I just accept it. I believe in God because everyday He give me the gift of life and life for the people I love. He loves me and I love Him and I feel protected next to Him. Sometimes I gave Him my back but even if I did it, He never left me, instead of it, He supports me.

Finally!

Today I woke up feeling different. I realized that I'm learning how to enjoy everything I do. I don't want to spend time watching TV and have a sedentary life. It has being 3 months since my "ex-sedentary life". Once I got married, I stoped working and going to school. It's almost two years since that. I started gaining weight. I was angry with everybody, yelling all the time. I had to overcome a depression that produced me some kind of respiratory attacks. It was a really tough time. Thank God, now I came back to school. I also got a job. Finally, I saw the light and the end of the tunnel. =]
